Where it all started…

John set up Green Bean Coffee Co in 2019 as a family run business in Hampshire. Born out of a love of exceptional coffee, the great outdoors and the dream of combining the two.

Meet Nellie…

After falling in love with a rusty 1970 Renault Estafette that needed a lot of TLC, we restored it to its former glory and converted it in what was a mammoth project undertaken over several months. The finished article is a retro, on the go coffee bar. She is lovingly known as Nellie, she’s grey, has big ears and is a bit cumbersome. Nellie is left hand drive, has no power steering and finds it tricky to get up to speed on the motorway but we adore her and she’s sure to put a smile on anyone’s face!

Meet the team…

John: “ I was a letting agent by trade but decided it was time for a new adventure outside of the property industry. Having set up and successfully run my own agency for over 30 years, I decided to combine my business skills with my passion for high quality coffee and bring to the market a unique coffee experience that would showcase top quality ingredients from wonderful local suppliers. Having the great outdoors as my new office is a nice bonus!”.

Jason is the Events Coordinator and John’s son! Jason helps with the weekend festivals and events and deals with all bookings and enquiries.

Jason’s wife Kelly and John’s sister Sharon also helps with events and we are proud to be a true family run operation.
