Work starts on the inside

We opened up the side for a serving hatch, this was one of the most tricky parts as we did not want to compromise the structure of Nellie, but we now have a wide area to serve our amazing coffee from.

The floor and the roof are lined with wood to make Nellie more secure and durable, she will be carrying lots of equipment when she is finally on the road. We also decided to insulate and line the roof and sides to keep it a bit cooler in summer and warmer in winter - it was tricky fitting the flexible board but it looks great.
